What 紫溪 Does in IP Streaming

蒂姆·鲍德温: What 紫溪's providing is both cloud-based 和 On-premise. I guess we can call it a software-defined video platform, 和 what we're enabling is being able to deliver live linear broadcast streams across IPs. So this could be a public internet, 也可以是纤维, maybe you don't want to spend extra money on your MPLS, or, 你知道, 一个低质量的, lower-insulate纤维. 你把紫溪碾过去, 可能是, 你知道我们有, 就在上周, 是谁?, SpaceX put up 400 low-orbit satellites so, 你知道, before long we're gonna have low-orbit IP networks, 你知道, swarming around the globe. So where 紫溪 comes into play is allowing you to either contribute up to your cloud processing or backhaul from point, 你知道, A点到B点, 你知道, different places on the planet, through these IP networks, instead of the older broadcast workflows where you're always going through video-style satellite, 非IP卫星. And then the other piece of this is for our larger customers, being able to orchestrate 和 manage hundreds or thous和s of linear channels.
So，在… early days of 紫溪, 我们的软件, 你可以建立它, the UI was kinda geared for maybe managing two or three or 10 channels of content but now what we have is, our customers have maybe 500 or 1000 or 2000 channels, 全线性通道, 你知道, originating with one customer. So the piece there is really giving them access 和 visibility to all of their channels 和 你知道, you mentioned earlier having lots of channels, 和, 就像, too many channels to even monitor.
