Both Ninja-2 and Samurai ship with the latest AtomOS 3 operating system. This includes features such as SmartMonitor, which turns the field recorder into a professional monitoring solution with Tri-Level Focus Peaking, 斑马, False Color and Blue Only functionality – features normally associated with expensive monitoring products, but provided free of charge with AtomOS.

Installed throughout the booth will be Atomos' pocket-sized 连接转换器 - H2S (HDMI to HD-SDI) and S2H (HD-SDi to HDMI). The Atomos Ninja-2 and Samurai field recorders allow the recording, monitoring and playback of pristine, 10-bit uncompressed images straight from the sensor of your HDMI-equipped DSLR or camcorder, directly to inexpensive HDD or SSD drives, recorded using the high quality Apple ProRes codec. Atomos will also be showing a beta version of their Avid DNxHD implementation for Ninja-2 and Samurai.
